Wot no safari

The Safari didn't get out first thing as we had a hospital appointment. Once we were home it was still raining so we didn't go out in to the garden.
We bummed around the house doing nowt in particular most of the day mostly catching up on wildlife and science documentaries we'd recorded, some upto 18 months or more ago.
Mid afternoon the sun tried to come out so we took the camera outside to see if we could find something to point it at...we;; there's always something...it might be a little unusual or unexpected sometimes. Today was one of those times.
There wasn't much happening and still far too dark to get pics of any birds on the feeders had there been any visiting. Looking round we were at a loss for a few minutes even our friendly spiders weren't to be seen.
But hang on it had been raining and everything was still wet, including those Ladies Mantle plants that hold the water in droplets all over their leaves.
Look at that last one, the droplet is sitting on the tiny hairs - amazing. The light could have been better for crisper pics.
Where to next? Anything could happen tomorrow, hope we'll be able to get to the nature reserve where the Garganey is still present though trickyish.
In the meantime let us know what's dropped in to your outback.
